Terms of use
Last updated: October 22, 2026 · Version 2026-10-22
These terms govern your use of Planivita. Please read them carefully: by creating your account and, above all, by publishing an invitation, you accept them together with the Privacy notice, and we keep a record of that acceptance.
1. Who we are and who can use Planivita
Planivita is operated by Maribel Isidoro Pichardo ("Planivita" or "we"), located at Cerrada Pensamiento Uno núm. 4, Xochimilco, Ciudad de México, C.P. 16034, México. You can write to us at contacto@planivita.com.
You must be of legal age and legally able to enter into contracts to use Planivita. If you use Planivita on behalf of a company or another person, you confirm you are authorized to bind them to these terms.
2. What the service is
Planivita is a tool to design, publish and share digital invitations, collect RSVPs, issue QR tickets, plan seating and receive photos from your guests.
Planivita does not organize events and is not part of the relationship between hosts and their guests. The host alone is responsible for their event: its date, venue, attendance, safety and everything that happens there.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for everything done with it. Tell us right away at contacto@planivita.com if you think someone else is using it.
4. Your content is your responsibility
"Content" is everything that you, or your guests through your invitation, upload or publish on Planivita: texts, photos, images, logos, music and other audio (voice recordings included), names, dates, venues, guest data and album photos.
You alone are responsible for your Content and for it being lawful. By uploading or publishing it, you represent and warrant that:
- You own it or have the license or permission needed to use and publish it, including photos, music, logos, trademarks and characters.
- You have the consent of the people who appear in the photos to publish them and, for minors, the consent of their parents or guardians.
- If you upload music, you have the license or permission to play it to your guests in your invitation. A commercial song (by an artist or a label) usually cannot be used without a license, even if you bought or downloaded it. If you upload a recording, you have the permission of the people whose voice can be heard.
- You have your guests' consent to use their data (name, email, phone) to invite them and manage their attendance, and you told them how it will be used.
- Your Content does not infringe copyright, trademarks, image rights, privacy or any law.
- Your event information is truthful and is not meant to mislead anyone.
5. Prohibited content
You may not upload or publish Content that:
- Is illegal or promotes illegal activities, including events or ticket sales for illegal activities.
- Contains violence, threats or harassment, or incites hatred or discrimination.
- Is sexually explicit, or any sexual content involving minors.
- Exposes third parties' personal data without their consent.
- Infringes others' intellectual property, such as protected characters, trademarks or music, without permission.
- Is deceptive: fake events, scams, fraudulent charges, impersonation or attempts to steal data (phishing).
- Contains viruses, malicious code or links to dangerous sites.
6. What Planivita does not do
We do not review Content before it is published and have no obligation to monitor it. We do not endorse or adopt hosts' or guests' Content and are not responsible for it: everyone answers for what they upload.
7. The permission you give us over your Content
You keep all your rights to your Content. You only grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, copy, process (for example compress images, play the audio, create previews, the QR code, the downloadable image or video) and show it to anyone with your invitation link, solely to provide the service. We do not use it for advertising without your permission.
The license ends when your event is erased, except for temporary backup copies deleted afterwards and anything the law requires us to keep.
8. Content removal, reports and suspension
We may remove or disable Content, unpublish invitations or suspend accounts without prior notice if they breach these terms, if an authority orders it or if we receive a well-founded report. Where possible we will tell you and explain why.
To report Content (photos, texts, music or other audio) that infringes your rights or these terms, write to contacto@planivita.com with the invitation link and an explanation. Copyright notices follow the procedure on our Intellectual property page.
If an invitation is removed for breaching these terms, there is no refund.
9. Guests and photo album
Anyone with the link can see your invitation. If you turn on the album, your guests can upload photos: whoever uploads a photo answers for it and accepts these terms, and you, as the host, can delete it or close the album at any time.
10. Payments and refunds
Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe or Mercado Pago, depending on the method you choose; Planivita never sees or stores your card details.
Publishing an invitation is a digital service delivered immediately. There are no refunds once it is published, except for a service failure attributable to us or where consumer protection law requires it.
11. How long your invitation is kept
Your invitation, its design, the music you uploaded, your guests and the album photos are erased automatically 30 days after the event, and you can delete them earlier at any time. Planivita is not a backup service: download anything you want to keep before then.
12. What belongs to Planivita
Planivita's themes, characters, illustrations, templates, backgrounds, bundled fonts and software are ours or licensed to us. You may use them only inside your invitations on Planivita; you may not copy, extract or use them outside the service. See the Intellectual property page.
13. Service availability
Planivita is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it running without interruptions but cannot guarantee it: there may be maintenance and failures, including those of third-party services such as email, WhatsApp or your internet provider.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Planivita is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss, for the acts of hosts or guests, or for the event itself (cancellations, changes, attendance, safety or anything that happens at it).
Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid for the related invitation in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded.
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Planivita, its owners and collaborators from any claim, damage, fine or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising from your Content, your event or your breach of these terms or the law.
16. Record of your acceptance
Before publishing each invitation we ask you to accept these terms and the Privacy notice. As evidence we keep the accepted version, the date and time, the invitation, your account email, and the IP address and browser you accepted from. This record is kept for 5 years, even if the invitation is erased.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date of the last update appears above. If the changes are important, we will ask you to accept the new version before publishing again; invitations already published keep working.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute will be settled before the competent courts of Planivita's domicile stated above, without prejudice to your rights under consumer protection law.
19. Contact
